Big designer bag purchase

Hihello

Hi all. I'm going to be makings biggest designer bag purchase soon. My budget is around 1000 preferably under bit if I have to go a little bit over I will.

Any reccendations of designers or bags?I was looking on net a porter and nothing has caught my eye I haven't been to bt yet.

I know I definitely don't want a Louie Vuitton I've never been mad about them. Ideally I'd like a Chanel not the 2.55 something bigger and more hardwearing for everyday use but I find the Chanel website so hard to use so I will have to to look in person but I'm not even sure if one will be in my price range.

Sorry for the ramble so just looking for any designer or bag recommendations I'm open to anything.

Mulberry's are gorgeous and they have a lot of timeless ones, in addition to the trendier ones. I also love Proenza Schouler for big bags. Marc Jacobs does gorgeous ones too.

If this is a one of sort of thing, have a good think about how you would use the bag, and buy a timeless design. something like the bayswater.

(A lot of the mulberrys, I find a little faddy...)

Personally, if I had that budget I would go with Mulberry and buy a classic style as stated above like the Alexa or the bayswater as they're always in fashion and are pretty iconic. They're the type of bag that I always notice if someone is lucky to possess one!

Chanel would be out for your budget unfortunately you'd be talking in the region of a couple of thousand :O (eep!)

I like Marc by Marc Jacobs and I have a Michael kors one that served me well thus far - however, you could buy two or three MK/Marc by MJ bags for your budget!

I like Alexander McQueen - but sometimes McQueen bags are really out there, and really be for occasion wear rather than everyday wear, etc. On the other hand you would have a very beautiful piece that would always be noticed!

YSL make gorgeous, timeless bags. I have def seen clutches in your price range, I'm slightly iffy about the prices of bigger bags though.
