Saorview: no picture with Sony W4000 and V4500 TV's.

Two TV's (Sony W4000 and V4500 series) in my parent's house in Westport have lost picture from Saorview. Sound and EPG ok. Signal fine as well. Reception is from Castlebar on UHF channel 22. Separate aerials to both TV's.

The TV's while non-Saorview approved have DVB-T/MPEG4 tuners. Both were working fine up to this morning. Tried retunes and a factory reset with both TV's, but no luck. Wondering have Saorview changed any parameters to cause the loss of picture with the Sony's?

An LG MPEG4 set in the house is working ok with Saorview.

Update: pictures back with both TV's after about 20 minutes. Bizarre. No loss of signal, just the picture itself.

Maybe it was somehow related to this issue today?:

The 2 issues don't appear to be related. I also own a 5 yr. old V4500 and it has no issue with video today but the now & next info remains stuck in 11:00-12:00.

Back in May when Mux2 from Mullaghanish was live, transmitting its occasional test cards, one of the test cards appeared to be using different video parameters. The video took about 2 mins to display after switching channel on the V4500, audio etc. was OK (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=84735291&postcount=805).

I wonder if the 2 video issues are related or just another ****-up like the now & next issue disabling Saorview PVRs?

    Strange one TC.

Remembering properly now, the V4500 was switched on for the first time today around 4pm. No picture, just sound. The W4000 was already on at that time. Was on RTE1, and that was ok. Flicked to RTE2 HD, no picture, just sound. Then flicked through all the channels after that, same result.

Tried the retune and reset on both TV's, no change. A few minutes later the picture just reappeared.
