Transferring contacts to another android phone

I want to give a mate all the contact numbers from a few groups on my phone that I've created, so that he can send out group texts for when. We both have android phones - S3 and S2, so I presume this can be done handy enough? Anyone know how I should go about doing this?

Export the ones he wants from here, send him the file and import them on his phone.
