using ipod in car

    I want to play my ipod nano through the car stereo would a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack be the correct lead to use or is there another special one I must get instead. thx

    If you have a 3.5 input on the head unit that'll work fine.

    i don't have one, where can I buy one of these leads for a reasonable price, Harvey Norman is charging approx. €11 for a 1m long 3.5 to 3.5mm lead but this is way too long for me, 30cm would be grand.

    Maplins? Peats? Any electronic shop. eBay if you're not in a rush. Probably for pennies.

    This is nifty if you have a socket nearish to the Aux port
