    Is there a fee charged for closing my current account and transferring money to a new current account of another Bank?

    Hi otterj,

    There is no fee incurred for closing an account however you will need to contact your account holding branch where a representative can advise you of what fees and charges are outstanding on this account prior to closing.

    There is no additional charge for transferring funds to another bank account within the EU.
