If anyone knows where I could find some pictures of the inside of any of the country's registry offices could you please let me know?

I have some of the one in Dublin (Grand Canal Place) from a wedding. What do you want them for?

The one in Dublin is just like a very big board room in my opinion...

I think we'll end up going the registry office route but I can't seem to find any pictures of the inside. And as January says, I don't like the idea of a big bland boardroom.

Had the same query a few weeks back Minty!
Here are the photos I found of the Cork City Registry Office (Adelaide Court)

    Link 1: Wedding Mapper

Link 2: Brosnan Photographic (There's only 1 or 2 photos here)

    Link 3: Moira O'Brien Photography

    Link 4: Sosac Photography

Honestly, I felt a bit weird having to Google pictures, but it did give me an idea of the size of the room and amount of natural light to help me plan the ceremony. T'would be nice if the HSE took some official photos and put on their site.

Sorry, just saw you're looking for the Dublin office!

Those pictures are quite nice! I'd always been told the registry office in Cork was horrible, but good to know they're not. Just in case

    Thanks everyone

I'm looking for any of them around the country really. I just wanted to get an idea of how the look and how they are laid out

I have always heard they are really ugly and completely boring but just wanted to see for myself before making a decision

If anyone has any more I'd love to see them

Why not have the cermony in the reception venue? Most hotels are set up for this and they look fab! Have a look at this one http://www.icehousehotel.ie/civil-ceremonies.html

Thanks Maryanne, that's the other option but I think it's a little more costly. I just want to get all my options together and don't know much about the registry offices.

Most hotels offer the ceremony room for free, you just have to pay for the officiant which, if you get someone from the HSE available for your date is between €100-150 on top of the marriage license fee.
