Would anyone know what range the wages (I'm guessing hourly rate) are in Grafton street?

I noticed a help wanted ad in one of the stores, went in to make enquiries on behalf of my sister only to be told they only reveal starting rate on a job offer, but it's about the same as you'd expect on Grafton street.

Presumably minimum wage and upwards depending on experience and nature of the job in question I would sincerely doubt that pay scale would be different on Grafton street than any other street

The street the shop is on makes no difference - it is the chain or company you work for that dictates the wages. So if you work for River Island on Grafton street you will get the same salary as someone working in River Island in Blanchardstown.

High street shops generally have a starting wage of slightly over €9. But that isn't a hard and fast rule and there's a lot of variety on that street, book shops, tourist merch shops etc.

There are plenty of minimum wage jobs on Grafton Street- and plenty of well paying jobs. If they're not willing to discuss the salary until you take the job- its probably safest to take it that its minimum wage, anything else is a bonus.

Is this a management role? If so Grafton Street being a flagship store (generally speaking) it will command a higher salary than the norm. Beyond this it's a piece of string question. Retail management jobs vary from between €22,000 - €122,000+ with Dundrum, Blanch and Grafton street commanding higher salaries than Northside or Santry for example.
