All 'dog cottage' dog cages half price in Petstop Superstore in Blanchardstown West end. Was going to buy the 72cm in Argos(diff brand) for 83 euro. Got the same size for 40 in Petstop next door

    60cm is 30 euro

nice find OP. Ive also been on the look out for a dog crate.

was recommended Jebb & Son by someone who used them

Might be handy for people who may not be in the dublin area.

I got mine from Jebbtools a few years ago at a very good price. It was sent by courier from Cork to Dublin and the transport cost was not dear at all.

I won't start a new thread since my querie relates to jebbtools and petstop. Regarding the dog crates they both sell are they of a similar build or is one better than the other. Also do they come with a tray or is that extra.

Another question, my daughter is getting a springer spaniel(puppie) and we need a dog crate. We were looking at the 62cm high crate but I'm wondering if we should go bigger. Should the dog be able to sit up in the crate or just lie down, which is typical.

Hi Prisoner, re the movement of the dog; they must be able to stand up and move around with no restriction.

Sorry can't help you with quality but they would normally come with the tray. HTH.

Petstop in Blanch are doing a 50% off sale at the mo. Don't know how their prices compare. http://www.petstop.ie/dogs/dog-products/dog-kennels

The dog must have room to stand/sit/move around AND there must be space for their bedding and water bowl. They generally come with the tray.
