Siphoning petrol

My car needs a new clutch among other things and it's not going to be financially worth fixing.
However there is a full tank of petrol in there E100 worth. I'm very reluctant to send it to the scrap yard with all the expensive petrol still in it. Is there an easy way to get the petrol out and into another car without getting a mouthful of petrol.

If it was me I'd poke a hole in the tank and then plug it after

The easiest way in my opinion is to disconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel rail, connect a longer hose to it to either a container for the fuel or straight into the tank of another car. Then locate the fuel pump relay and bridge it out, then switch on the ignition. Then the car's own fuel pump will pump the fuel out for you.

You can buy hand pumps on ebay but a long tube and a clean bucket should work just as well. With a clear tube you can see the petrol coming..

    Or try this

    Confirmed easiest!
