Can't receive text msgs on new phone

    Its an S4 clone (star S9500). Everything else is perfect. I can send texts and make and receive calls but I can't get messages? I've gone through the settings and can't see what's wrong. Anyone any ideas? I'm with 3.

    Sorry, should add I transferred my number from my iPhone to the new android. Couldn't use the sim because they were different sizes. My iPhone is still on here beside me and is picking up my text messages through wifi? Would this be stopping them coming through on the other phone?

    Yep. U need to turn off imessage on your iphone
