    Hi,
My brother asked me a question yesterday and I couldn't answer. He drives a taxi and uses the Hailo app but the phone keeps locking. I disabled the lock screen for him but the display times out after 10mins. Is there a way to set this to zero ???? Its the galaxy S4, any help appreciated.

    Thanks

Their might be an easier way but if you enable Developer options you can keep the phone awake if i remember right

Settings>more> about device> then tap on build number 7 times to enable developer options.

Thats the stay awake function, and only works if the phone is being charged, not so bad if he charges it in the taxi

Get him to contact the developer requesting this feature, an app can hold the screen awake if it needs to and I would have thought an app like Hailo would do this.

You could use something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tni.KeepScreenLite&feature=related_apps#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEwOSwiY29tLnRuaS5LZWVwU2NyZWVuTGl0ZSJd

Or I think if you have apps like Waze or Car Home Ultra running then they can be set to keep the screen on also which would allow Hailo to stay on screen all the time when driving (I use Car Home Ultra and it fires up and keeps the screen on once i am connected to my car bluetooth)

You could also go down the route of Tasker or AutomateIt Pro to automate the process
