Hi i bought one of these a couple of days ago. Question is, i have it set to auto start/stop but am i right in saying that i still have to press start before i take off on my ride. Also how do i reset everything to zero when im starting a new ride. Does it store your overall distance somewhere too? Sorry i didnt get much time to play with it yet but im out with the group tonight and id like to use it.

Press and hold the reset button, which is below stop/start.

Yep, you'll find it as a menu option

everytime you hold down the reset/lap button for 3 seconds it will reset the current session but your total overall distance and top speed will be recorded in files.

you can also set the auto start and stop to a different value, say you are coming up to traffic lights and are slowing down, it can pause the time at 10km/h if you want

Press and hold the reset button, which is below stop/start.

It also resets when you attach it to a computer to upload.
