I have tried the search function but answers are inconclusive. The TV is a UK model Panasonic V20 series plasma with the above tuner, which is supposedly OK for freeview HD over there. Would it decode saorview signals here? I'm thinking just get an approved aerial and connect it up, or is it that simple?

    Thanks

Yes it will give you saorview channels, although you might get problems with e.p.g ,especially if also viewing freeview from U.K.

The 2013 Saorview standard requires a DVB-T2 tuner, although it isn't presently used. As the previous post says it should work OK.
