Galloway's 5k/10k plans

    Just wondering what experience people have had with Galloway's plans. I used the 5k sub 20min plan and it did what it said on the tin - with some modifications. I'm now starting into the 10k sub 40 plan, but I find it looks short on mileage

    Typical 2 week Galloway cycle:

    Week 1
    Tues Mon Race pace for a couple of miles - (tough session approx 10-12k)
    Thurs Speed, 400's - starting at 10 reps up to 22
    Fri - Easy 5k sometimes with small number of hill reps (2-3)
    Sun - LSR peaking at 16 miles

    Week 2
    Tues - 1 mile at max in a 10km easy
    Thurs - Speed, 400's - as week 1
    Fri - Easy 5k sometimes with small number of hill reps (2-3)
    Sun - 4 hills in a 8k run

    Is there enough meat on this? It's heavy on the speed work, but I kinda feel the need to supplement it, particularly in the mileage on the second weeks of the cycle. Any thoughts?
