So I lost my job a couple weeks ago and my partner not in work at the min. Worst time it comes as we have our first child arriving in December...

So we went to welfare and told were only entitled to €312 for both of us...

Is this correct I mean it's €60+ that we would be down if we were not married & went looking for deprecate claims...

    Any help appreciated...

yes that would be correct, you will get an increase when your child is born, I think there are other things you may be entitled to as well like family income supplement but i'm not sure about that

Thats correct as you are living together. When baby arrives the payment will be increased by €29.80 and Child benefit.

You may be able to apply for an exceptional need payment from the CWO if you need essential items for baby.

One person must be working to claim FIS.
