    Hi I am on holiday from college for the summer and looking for work as a carer, anybody know anybody hiring. I am fully qualified and an occupational therapy student, I have worked for homecare companies, private clients and nursing homes.

    I have applied to the larger companies but there does not seem to be much around in Cork. I was called up by one company and asked to drive 25 minutes twice a week for an hours work Wednesdays and Fridays :eek: but that is all that they had in my area.

    I really need to work soon and I think I live in west cork 20 minutes from the city so there must be something more than a couple of hours out there.

    And I will travel to work too, for more than two hours of course :)
