You need to speak to her HSE dentist

Be prepared for a long wait for an Orthodontic appointment. And then it is very hard to qualify. The HSE Dentist will give you an informed opinion on whether they feel your daughter will qualify.

My sisters young fella is waiting for them, she appied last year and was told it'll be end of '14 start '15 before he'll be called......they had to jump through a lot of hoops before he was granted them.

I got mine on my medical card about 8 years ago! My mother had to fight for it ( I grew a second set of permanent teeth and I couldn't eat properly or close my mouth) and was eventually awarded it when they decided it might just affect my health long-term

If the problem is likely to affect her health, and its not just a couple of crooked teeth, I'm sure you could try your arm?
