    Hey lads,

I have inherited a broken Nexus 7 from my step dad, I am wondering does anywhere in Dublin that will do screen replacement? Preferably with an original screen tbh....

Or should I get onto Asus themselves?

I was in the same boat I had to send it to galway electronic partners was the name of the firm to replace the screen looked litterly everywhere on the net beforehand

Thanks for the info GCGirl, have you an email or phone number for them?

How much did it cost you in the end do you mind me asking?

They have a really good website you can call for an estimate then they send a courier to pick it up
€135 to get it sorted, had to get it fixed as it was my 7 yr olds

135 quid is a bit steep, only a 100 off the price of a new one, I know the part can be got around 60-80, might just give it a go myself, I used to repair mobiles so I'm usually handy enough with these things....

Does anyone know if they are still going? I mailed for a quote a few days ago but didn't get a reply and the phone number on the site doesn't seem to work.

I'm gonna wait a few weeks, by then the new N7 will be released, from there I'm hoping the price of these displays will go down as I would say they will use a new screen on the new model...
