I picked up a few copies of this magazine from a second-hand book stall. The seller wanted to turf them in the bin and I said I'd take them (can't think why) and got them for nothing, they are dated 1878. Not good condition. Thinking of chucking them, but thought I'd ask here first.

Maybe if it has some nice illustrations maybe they could be harvested and framed?

    Then bin.

I wouldn't know. I thought a monitor was a sort of ironclad ship!

The Christian Science Monitor is a magazine.

A monitor is also a species of lizard, of which the Komodo Dragon is the largest.

Well, the bin it is then. I might try using some of the illustrations in a craft project although I won't need to give it a distressed look at it looks pretty tatty already! :D Thanks all.
