May be a stupid question, but.....Will be using the M50 twice in the next 2 weeks (Heading to UK via dublin port), can I prepay for the M50 now or can you only pay after youve used it within the "Pay by next day" method?

If there's any chance you'll be ever using it again (and even if there isn't!) the handiest solution is to set up a video account (I think that's what it's called anyway).

No setup fee, no standing charge, and the toll is automatically deducted every time you use the bridge. And it's 50c cheaper than post-paying.

Takes all the headache out of trying to remember not to forget to pay.

Otherwise, all info you need is here http://www.eflow.ie/

Is it not easier to just go straight through N4, then by Heuston station and on the Queys to the port, instead of using M50 and tunnel and paying for both?

I go to the port and back from Mayo once or twice a year at least and always go through the city.

you can pass through and ring up the toll number and pay by card right away with your reg number.

You can prepay in the same way you postpay: go to a shop or online and pay as normal. The prepayment will be set against your next trip(s).

    Hi Snaps,

You can prepay for up to two journeys on the M50 at any time, either over the phone on 1890-50-10-50, online on eflow.ie (on the pay now section https://csc.eflow.ie/myaccount/payUTT.aspx) or in any payzone outlet (go to www.payzone.ie for your nearest outlet).

The best option is our free Video Registration account (no fees) which entitles you to discounts on your M50 tolls and automatic payments. You can set up an account online on eflow.ie or over the phone to be immediately covered for cheaper tolls.

    Hope this helps,

    Maureen

ive prepaid for 2 journeys. No real point me setting up a video account as I only use the M50 for trips to Dublin port and airport. no more than 4 times a year.

It doesn't cost you anything and has the big advantage that you don't need to remember to pay, especially when you're going to the airport and will have other things on your mind.

    Hi Serious3,

Credit on a vehicle will remain there for a year and any excess credit can be refund with a receipt, if necessary.

    Hope this helps,

    Maureen

So a video account will save you up to €2.00 a year.

    Every little helps....
