Hey all, we are putting up a new cubicle house at the moment and we are trying to decide which brand Fibrecement sheet would be best. Past sheds we have done have Tegral Profile 6 on them but there is a considerable variation in price between the two, SVK being the cheaper.
Has anyone here any experience of SVK in comparison to Tegral positive or negative?

I used to sell svk slates for a company called capco roofing and there a dam fine product. They are made from the exact same raw materials and go through the exact same process- they also have the exact same warranty- if there sheeting is half as good as there slates I'd have no hesitation buying them-

Why fibre cement and not space sheeting

Never used SVK, but have Big6 on a slatted shed almost 25 years now, same as when it went on. You need half as much timber again as cladding, and slower to put on, but happy with it long term.

SVK was a couple of hundred quid dealer than using metal sheeting and that was on a roof 60ft X 70ft

Thanks for all replies. To use SVK on the roof it would still come in cheaper than using Agribild, even factoring in extra timbers and the more expensive Fibrecement text screw and washers and lanour. There is approx a 20% difference in price between SVK and Tegral. Tegral don't want to deal price is price I find the sales rep very arrogant I would prob prefer to use Tegral but they are not bothered even though roof area is now goin to be nearly 2000m2 which is a hell of a lot of sheeting.
Just wondering if there was a reason the SVK product was cheaper?
Or is it just Tegral trying to add on an extra layer of fat for themselves?
