Hi guys, Trying to build PC for myself.

I do have HDD so no need for that.

Have chosen some parts, but would like to ask if you would change anything?

    -Samsung SSD 840 120GB SATA 6Gb/s - 81,99 €
    -Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced Window, USB 3.0 - schwarz - 78,48 €
-be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM 630 Watt - 78,71€
    -Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition, 2GB GDDR5, PCI-Express -203,71 €
    -ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0, AM3+, ATX - 86,72 €
    -AMD FX-6300 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+ - 101,96 €

Looks good, unless your planning on adding a second GPU sometime down the line that PSU is overkill drop down to a 500 watt one instead and use the money saved to pump the GPU to a 7870 XT.

What I was thinking is that 500W wouldn't be that much cheaper, 10-15E probably. So it would be better to have room for upgrade in future maybe. Not sure if I'd do it but just in case I'd decide to go for it.. Anyway would 630W be able to handle two 7870 gpus?
Also might add another hdd or two in future. I thought extra power is always welcome..

    What do you think?

Ya it would handle 2 of em as long as it was of decent quality.

So is the one I have on my list good quality or would I need a stronger one if I ever want to get another 7870 gpu ?
Thanks for all the replies guys.

Yep around 100 watts for the CPU and 130 watts each for the 7870's so you should have a bit of headroom for overclocking.

    This should be fine.

As I said I might end up with 3 HDDs at the end as well.
That's a saving of 25E comparing to what I wanted to get. Is it really worth to make savings on power supply?

So You guys wouldn't change anything else in the setup?

I'd probably make the following substitutions mainly to get a CPU cooler in there TBH, also you're better off with a 990XA board if you intend to crossfire.

    Item|Price
Corsair Carbide Series 300R, ATX, ohne Netzteil|€67.64
    Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3, AMD 990X, AM3+, ATX|€92.02
    Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W|€58.27
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD|€29.18

Hi thanks for your advice. really appreciate it.

Is that: Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W really good? I've seen a lot of people recommending it..

And what is the main difference between Corsair Carbide Series 300R vs CM HAF 912 Advanced. is corsair better than CM?

I was looking at Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 before, ASUS M5A97 EVO was only random choice I'd say. You're probably right with 990XA.

    Thanks again.

Yes, the Amazon Super-Flower range is top quality. My own 650w unit is almost 3 years old now. Not a single hitch thus far :)

Just saving a few bucks on the Case and PSU for a cooler really. The 300R is a pretty decent case for 67 or so. I'm not a huge fan of the HAF myself (and I have a 922), it a solid case don't get me wrong, good but I think if you are were to spend near 80 you could do better.

PSU is pretty good, 550W should be more than enough for even 2 X 7870 and an overclocked FX 6300.

No need for anything higher really unless you think a couple of much powerful cards and heavy overclocked octa-core CPU like the FX8350 are a possibility in the future.

How do you guys paste basket from hardwareversand.de with links in here?

Ok, adjusted it a little bit.

    -8GB-Kit Kingston HyperX blu.XMP PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-27 - 57,67 €
    -Samsung SSD 840 120GB SATA 6Gb/s - 81,99 €
    -Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced Window, USB 3.0 - schwarz - 78,48 €
    -Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W - 58,34 €
    -Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition, 2GB GDDR5, PCI-Express -203,71 €
    -ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0, AM3, ATX - 110,85 €
    -AMD FX-6300 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+ - 101,96 €
    -LG GH24NS bare schwarz - 17,09 €
    -Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD - 29,52 €

    amount 726,22 €

Still can't decide between HAF 912 Advanced and Corsair Carbide 300R.
I realy like the HAF look.

A bit more expensive but... it's only 20E.
    Any better?

    Better? I honestly don't know.

I was intending on going for one of the HAF series myself at one point but I went with a Fractal Design Define R4 instead. Happy I did too as I reckon the red LED's would annoy me after a while :o Would be a novelty at the start but I reckon I would eventually be looking at blocking them or turning them off.
