    hi,
i am wanting to buy a good strimmer for our garden.. its about 1/2 acre and we have decking and kerbs - i have seen one that you kind of strap on to yourself.. any help / recommendation would be great. what kind of money would you need to spend to get a good quality one?
    Thank you

Hi, we have a Maruyama strimmer and I have to say it is one of the best I've used. Light and easy to use even with my dodgy back.

I think I gave €250 for it two or so years ago. Probably a little dearer now tho I'd say. Worth ringing around I'd say to price a few places. Depends on your budget though.

I'm not a fan of Husqvarna so it wouldn't be fair of me to comment on them.
