Would heaven be communist

    Hi

I was thinking this the other day, and wasn't sure whether it would go under politics or religion.

Anyways I was wondering what peoples views were on Religion and Politics in the case of Communism and Religion.

    What would heaven be?

Would it be capitalist? ie if you do good you get more luxuries or you don't starve to death? or would everyone be happy to share the luxuries equally regardless of how good they were or how hard they worked for it?

I am no expert in communism or religion and people that I've had this discussion with always argue the point that "communism doesn't work because of greed" but if you are religious, do you really see a capitalist, socialist, dictatorship by god in heaven???

Also the whole "communism doesn't work because of greed" doesn't really work for me - there is enough food in the world to feed everyone yet every year at least 15 million children die of hunger!

    It's a very good question.

It will be like an endless summer music festival, but with your granny there and really bad music because all the good musicians will be in hell.

Communist doesn't work because people don't apply themselves in that system.

Didn't they put men in space and build tanks and Kalashnikovs and more nuclear warheads than they knew what to do with? I wish some of them had applied themselves a bit less...

Neither. Heaven is like the queue at Disneyland, only leading into Lillies Bordello, with St Peter, in his black bomber jacket, the bouncer.

Sadly, demand has escalated recently with the whole "population explosion", and the queue is now 42,000 miles long. St Peter is also rather old at this stage, and a bit senile. He is curently dealing with the backlog caused by WW1 - hasn't even started on the WW2 crowd and the queues getting rowdy. A lad who had a near death experience said it was like a Scooter concert queue after being attacked with slash-hooks. Heaven, due to popular demand, is like hell.

Very interesting question. I used to ask myself things everyday, will God judge? Can he see me? But then I grew up and realised it's all a 2000 year old fairy tale

Next on OP's threads: Are tomatoes fascists?

What ever chance there is a heaven, if it is run by catholic's, the scum of the earth, bankers, politicians, and dictators will be sitting at the top table. Hopefully those that believe in such a place, it will be run by decent types. Dream on.

Nimrod7, tomatoes are fruit but the point is if we could make communism work, then would we not be in "heaven" as a fact on earth?

In heavan I would assume nobody would work.

It would not be a 'material' place and people would not have physical bodies. Therefore there would be no need to work to produce material requirements.

Politically it would be an absolute paternal monarchy with angels acting as a veritable state. Therefore it would not be communism as communism is stateless.

Will heaven have wifi or LAN? Just pondering.

    Oh no

The thing is, we can't. We can't make it work, we've tried many times before and it's still happening it countries and it doesn't feckin work for one reason, some thing we can't change: We are in fact human beings.

We get greedy, and in communism the people in control of the state who get greedy will use the others for their gain.

Coolemon to me a monarchy is a dictatorship!

Nimrod7 ok maybe it wont work here but in 'heaven' would it work? would god let "the people in control of the state who get greedy" into heaven?

Its a dictatorship run by a homicidal, egotistical, fantasist maniac. But if you don't like it, there's a place just up the road full of **** hot virgins who go round in packs of 72.
