    Hey all,

I sent parts 2 and 3 of my p45 into the tax office before christmas to see if I had could get any tax refuned as I only worked part of last year.

I started a new job this week and was asked for me p45. It only occurred to me then that I only had part 1. How do I proceed?

You don't need it, it's only relevant in the year it relates to. Give them your PPS number and they will register you as an employee. You may also need to ring Revenue yourself to confirm you haven't worked until now and they will then put your tax status to normal and move your credits and cut-off over.

So how did you get on when you sent documents to tax office before Christmas last year ?
