I just don't get people these days, by your own admission you were unable to get the answer, I help and then you start insulting me. A great way to show your gratitude.

    You're welcome btw.

From the first link that was posted in reply to you question.

"If you are aged 18 years or over you can bring 50 cigarettes or 50 grams of cigars or tobacco products duty-free into Australia with you. All tobacco products in accompanied baggage are included in this category, regardless of how or where they were purchased. "

    That's customs http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page4352.asp

    The second link

"If you are aged 18 years or over you can bring 50 cigarettes or 50 grams of cigars or tobacco products duty-free into Australia with you. All
tobacco products in accompanied baggage are included in this category, regardless of how or where they were purchased."

    Sydney Airport http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/relax/syd-airport-tax-and-duty-free/duty-free-allowances

    The third link

"TOBACCO PRODUCTS : Inbound allowance for adult travellers 18 years or over
Each adult is permitted to enter Australia with 50 cigarettes, or 50 grams of cigars or tobacco products."

    http://www.firstdutyfree.com.au/105-allowances-on-return-to-australia

So let me get this straight a guy answers your question, you took the piss out of him, another poster may from the 3 links above posted the incorrect answer of 200 and that poster gets a thank you.

Looking forward to seeing you on a episode of border control.

The amounts changed in September last year from 250 to 50 http://www.moodiereport.com/document.php?doc_id=32194

So you're thankful for getting an incorrect answer while still annoyed at the person who not only showed you the correct answer, empowered you to be able to get future answers for yourself, like the proverb goes "Give a man fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life"

Granted I didn't teach you to fish, only how to Google, which isn't as important as eating, but it's the same kind of gist.

Good luck in Australia, I think you're going to need it.

sorry for the incorrect information, didn't realize the quantity had changed... If you go on to the Australian customs site.. www.customs.gov.au it will give you the allowance for cigs, alcoholal and any other duty free that you are allowed...

    Have a super trip....
