My mother is now in a nursing home with a brain tumor and alzheimer's. I am cancelling her various services as she will never go home again. Rang sky today and explained the situation, they gave me a number to call. They have a dedicated  section for these kind of issues. They said sorry to hear about your mother and they would cancel her contract  immediately with no notice given.

Rang eircom and explained her condition. The lad who answered said I have to give 30 days notice in writing and asked me would she be interested in moving her line to the nursing home.. Seriously!!!!!!!

Was he just new or was he trained to be so insensitive?

    Hi brian ireland

I'm sorry to hear this and I apologise for the insensitivity of the agentyou where speaking to. We are unable to process account cancellations/closures from here however the best advice I can offer is to contact eircom account cancellations again on 1901 (option 4 and then 3).

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Al
