Keypress sounds -> Settings->Ringtones+Sounds -> Play a sound for "Key Press"

Wifi issue - type your password correctly :-)

Not yet......wifi works perfect everywhere else but my house. Changed wpa and done a full reset so it looks like the modem os the issue!

Im trying to find my old modem and see if that allows me to connect!

Seems to be a big issue on the Nokia discussion forum. I don't think I'm a total idiot when it comes to technology, but they seem to be talking double dutch.
I've contacted Nokia and am awaiting them to get back, if they come back with anything I'll post it.

Try to change the wlan channel from your router if that helps.
I had a similar problem once with Magnet router and that fixed the issue.

    Worth to try anyway

I contacted Nokia care shop in local town, they tell me the older eirocm router is not compatible with the windows phone 8. Something to do with the security certificates.
I spoke to eircom the say it's probably the kids PS3 that's knocking it out, tried that didn't work. Their sending me a new router.
There are no bottons on the router I have apart from the reset, I assume there is therefore no way to change.

The wlan channels is changed within the router, so you need to login to do it. I dont know what the model l of your router is if its possible at all to do.

Hopefully the new router will solve the problem.

Definitely the router, got a new black one from eircom.
Everything is running faster now. Some of the old eircom ones are incompatible with window phone 8.

Old eircom routers aren't that Good. My mate had one set up on his house and it kept throwing my S4 off it every couple of mins.

Well guys I received the d1000 router from eircom today and hooked it up.
The nokia lumia 520 connected easily BUT the phone will not display any
internet pages. It shows up "We`re having trouble displaying this page"
I`ve checked that flight mode is disengaged. I`ve tried several web sites
and i just get the same message.

    Seems you're not alone

    http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Nokia-Lumia/Nokia-Lumia-520-Unable-to-connect-wifi-secured-with-WPA2/td-p/1869514

I'd turn off security, get that working then try the different security protocols to see what works. Maybe it a bug though. I've had issues with some machine not being able to use certain security protocols and certain wild cards in password. Only by trial and error did I find the lowest common denominator.

I would have expected a W8 phone to support all mainstream stuff though.

Thank you for your reply Beauf...I tried the internet on the phone again late
last night and it worked.I can`t explain why because i didn`t do anything differently. I just hope it continues to work.Happy Days.
    Thanks again for your input.
