I am still slighty drunk.... But I am glad I missed the sales, winning Ulster and beating the Alll Ireland Champions was more important to us Monaghan folk :D

Yis were a bit greedy, could you not at least have let our minors have the win. But other than that it was great to see Monaghan lift Ulster. Hope thehangover isn't too bad :)

Have bought Civ5, Chivalry, TWD and Just Cause 2.

Fairly happy with that, played a bit of Civ5 and jesus I didn't know what I was doing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,752 ✭✭✭flyingsnail

    Blood dragon 8.99
    Bastion 2.09
    Civ 5 Gold 9.99
    Torchlight 2 4.74
    Witcher 2 4.99

That should keep me going for a while :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,995 ✭✭✭Sofiztikated

    Ok, so I'm about done.

Just Worms Revolution to get, and thats it. (Don't have enough left to go for that 4pack :( )

I'm still not sure about these cards. Should I just flog em? Hold on to them, as they get destroyed after crafting a badge, and eventually there'll be none left, and my Kerbal Space Program card could be worth a fortune? Try for a badge?

    Lucky that that is awesome!

Not a big spender here either.

Had 14 games in my inventory prior to the sale (all gifts).

    Bought: CIV V upgrade to G+K €2.50
    BG Enhanced (nostalgia) €3.74
    Arma II + Arrowhead €6.79

Under €14 and my Steam account is will finally be fully activated in 28 days or so, and i'll be able to get rid of my CIV V Cards.

Right so. The sale is pretty much done. My total.....

    Rogue Legacy
    Strike Suit Zero
    StarDrive
    Monaco
    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
    The Binding Of Isaac
    Mark of the Ninja
    Dust: An Elysian Tail
    Reus
    Deadlight
    Tomb Raider
    The Witcher 2
    Just Cause 2
    FTL: Faster Than Light
    Don't Starve
    Hotline Miami

Total is about 80 euro when I subtract the money I made selling cards. So far I've sunk a few hours into Deadlight and a lot of hours into Rogue Legacy.

Rome II and GTAV are both out in September. Add them on and I'm basically set till Christmas atleast. Happy gaming. :)

Prison Architect - is it buggy being in alpha?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,583 ✭✭✭Suryavarman

    It really is.

    Still good fun though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,005 ✭✭✭marko93

    Really wanted Prison Architect but not for 17 quid ;_;

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,997 ✭✭✭Grimebox

How the hell is prison architect getting so much exposure from steam? Its in alpha! Has a game in such early development ever been on the front page of the store like this before? It's not even close to being finished and its going for that price. I'd expect it to be going for €5 if anything. Who on the prison architect development team is related to gaben? It doesn't make sense to me

Kerbal is the same. its got a lot of exposure with LPers and is made by a decent studio. I dont mind the price tbh they have to pay the staff wages (7 people).

Its also steam pushing this early release program they have

Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim is the last thing I want, has anyone seen it cheaper than 13.99 elsewhere? 30% off during a steam sale is a bit low.

I told ye all that the Skyrim DLC's were 6.20 each on Nuuvem and ye didnt listen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,309 ✭✭✭blaa85

I may hang on a bit then, have enough to keep me going for now

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

    My sale tally:

    Dishonored (ROW) 10.19 EUR
Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition 2.49 EUR
    Assassin's Creed Brotherhood 3.74 EUR
    FEZ 4.99 EUR
    Antichamber 6.45 EUR
    Tomb Raider ROW 12.49 EUR
Tomb Raider: Tomb of Lost Adventurer 1.24 EUR
Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon 8.99 EUR

    Total: 50.58

Think I got some really quality games in there without spending too much, so I'm happy out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,446 ✭✭✭Corvo Attano

You wont get that again. It was 66% off I believe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭Moon54
