    Have you heard of The Cycle? It's a 1400km/10 day cycle being ran by three Trinity Pharmacy/Medicine students (and being organised by many others in Trinity) in aid of a Pharmacy student who was injured in a freak accident last year and left paralysed from the chest down.

    Thanks to the stellar work of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Jack's next goal is to come back to college to complete the degree this coming September.

    The campaign is being organised entirely by his friends in Pharmacy and Medicine with three of us running the actual cycle. Seeing firsthand the stellar work the NRH does for its patients and the huge difference their works makes to people's lives was the inspiration for this campaign.

    Our target is to raise €15,000 and the cycle will run from the 3rd July - 12th July. What we're asking for is your support, in whatever way you can. Whether it's a donation on our website, sharing our Facebook page, or a retweet. If you or anyone you know wants to join in the cycle, send us an email at info@cycle2013.com!

    This is a mammoth task for a great cause and your support would be appreciated by everyone involved.

    Set off today through the front arch at 9AM and past stage 1 already.

    The Metro Herald and a few other papers are doing a piece on The Cycle tomorrow, keep an eye out.
