Trim Co. Meath. Casting Coaches

    Slightly off the normal topic of angling, but last Sunday, Trim Athboy anglers invited some top casting coaches to the annual Trim Haymaking Festival.

    There they spent the day giving fly casting lessons to all and sundry free of charge. We had everything from dry fly to double handed salmon fishing instruction so here's few pics from the day....

    It always warms my heart to see an angler throw a line with the backdrop of Trim castle. There are a few great fly men around Trim, and better still a few young lads from the town shaping up very well.
