    Hello everyone
I'm new to the sat forum and need some help with a new system iv'e just purchased.I'm trying to set up a multiple lnb on a triax td 88 dish.Iv'e bought everything i think i will need. Here's what i have ;td 88,mutliple lnb rail,4 twin lnb's,2 4x1 disecq switches and a technomate TM-2T OE receiver. I have tried the dish on an old lidl box and picked up 19.2E&5E no problem.

What i need help with is the tm2t ,when i first plugged it in the display reads booting, thats all its done ever since.Technomate help centre said to re-download software,as i never downloaded software in the first place i dont know what that means.Im not a computer person and technical abbreviations will not help me.Iv'e had no problems with the physical end of it putting up dish, connecting cables, running cables into house but the tm2t has stopped me dead in my tracks. I thought i was just buying a twin tuner but it seems to be more than that. So if anyone out there has experience of this receiver or what i should do i would appreciate the help.Thank you.

Click on the Firmware Updates here link on this site. The top one, number 20 seems to be the newest software for your receiver.

    http://www.satellitetv.ie/technomate_tm_t2

You need to download that to a USB stick and you will have to use Winzip or Winrar to unzip the file. You can download free evaluation versions of Winzip/Winrar if you haven't got either already. Then put the USB stick in the receiver and see what happens.

If you get up and running, give yourself a while to get familiar with the various menus. I am using similar software on my AzBox receiver and it is a bit of a learning process.

Thanks for the reply Dxhound. I followed the link you provided and downloaded it to receiver. After downloading it told me to press off/on switch which i did and now i'm back to booting. repeated the download a few times but it just says booting,no setup menu nothing but endless booting.Should I be doing something else or should it work with what i've done. Thanks again Frostie.

There is a step by step guide here. Image just means software.

It could be that the receiver is faulty. It should have come with a version of the software loaded. I don't think I can help any further, you probably need someone there in person to assist you.
