    Hi I'm looking to do a dress making course and found a fashion design & dressmaking course on courses direct.ie , it's an online course but I'm a bit weary that it might not be legit I can't find any reviews online about it can any1 help ?

    It looks just alright, have you tried learning from youtube?

    With me some things do work but somethings I just have to see someone do it for real.
    I dont think you'd stick to it if you were an absolute beginner, but if you had the basics it might fill in the blanks for you. It does not look like it is accredited, so you'd just be doing it for the experience of doing it.

    Have you exhausted all the options available to you? I have found 3 courses running within a mile of my house that I couldn't find. I found out about them when I rang the council.

    Also I wouldnt be paying too much for this, €100 tops.

    Besides YouTube, which I've learned loads from, maybe craftsy.com would be worth a look? They do small, specific, online courses from 19.99 dollars. I've never done one but it might be worth looking at.
    I agree, sometimes you just have to see it done to grasp what's what.
