does anyone know any good iron accuracy drills. I can get to the green in two shots but not giving myself a reasonable chance to get the ball in the hole ? :)

My favourite iron drill is to hit iron shots with my feet together (very narrow stance). It helps with balance and keeping the clubhead on track and it makes full shots seem fairly easy in comparison!

However if you can get to the green in two shots handily enough, it seems like your short game is the problem. I've no idea what handicap you are but it's only when you get to a low handicap when you should really start trying to dial in your iron shots around the flag, and even still you should be spending most of your time on short game!

What is your current handicap? Are you playing two irons onto a green on a par 4 from the tee??

If your handicap is 12 you dont need to be making birdies, you need to make less bogeys and worse :)
