I am just wondering is there any way to help with hip pain, it has only come on recently with the fitment of a new saddle and drop of my handlebars, its affecting me within the first 10 mins of cycle and mostly when pushing the pedals hard or climbing.

Any help would be great :D

Refit the old saddle and adjust your handle bars back to the original position perhaps?

The old saddle was not comfortable at all and I was getting knee pains after the last bike fit, I can readjust the handlebars easy enough but what I am looking for is this current setup without the hip pain ha ha, is there any part of the bike that specifially affects the muscles around this area as I only get the pain when cycling.

Your new more comfortable saddle is obviously putting you in a slightly different riding position. Don't forget there's a lot of muscle attachment around the part of human anatomy that connects with a bike saddle, namely the ischial tuberosity or sit bones. So there will always an adaptation period even for the most comfortable saddle.

Did your overall height of the seat rise with the new saddle? Even a few mm can make a difference. Are you sitting further forward or back in the new position?
