Rav4 VS Grand Vitara - Any Opinions?

    Howdy all,

So, I'm on the fence between these two vehicle and figured I'd ask on here if anyone has any opinion on either or both)?

I've been looking at the two of them for a while, and I won't lie, the Rav4 is the one that was/is most predominantly on my mind. The Grand Vitara is in second place at the moment, but having not actually been in either of them, it's obviously difficult to gauge (my purchase will depend on how much the Credit Union love me, but I reckon I'm safe enough).

A fellow Boardsie (Colm mcm) has been extremely helpful with giving advice on the Rav4 in general (and on a specific one I was looking at).

I've been looking at these two in particular:

    Vitara:

    Rav4:
    http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/toyota-rav4-4x2-luna-5dr/4995045

The Rav4 has the advantage of coming with a "warranty" from a dealer (not a very extensive warranty, I'm sure). The Vitara has the advantage of being newer and cheaper (at the expense of moving from 1.8 to 2.0).

So I just thought I'd ask in general if anyone has had any experience of these cars? Or if anyone can suggest anything in particular to look out for in the Grand Vitara?
