Skype is probably the most popular means of communication via computers, and I use it on a day to day basis for various reasons, but I think it is complete and utter rubbish.

Does anyone else feel the same way?, its clunky, its hard to find things and navigate on, there's next to no customisation, and its got the same bloody layout since 2003. I think it looks clean and such, but in all fairness when it comes to ergonomics I find it ridicules. The worst thing is the whole fact that everyone uses it so you can't change to a different program.

It's the same with Facebook the majority of people don't use decent social network sites such as Twitter so that means that you have to use them also (Every like on this status is a euro towards fighting cancer )
Does anyone see where im coming from here?

TBH, I find twitter annoying ..

And skype will be gaining improvements now that Micro$oft has stopped support for msn and encourage all msn users to switch to skype.

I like skypes clean layout .. calls are hit and miss but expect improvements over the next few months. Still one of the best out there in my mind though.

I find the opposite. The only reason anyone I know uses Skype is solely for video calls, which it is pretty much the de facto standard for. Any instant messaging is done over other services like Google or Facebook

Twitter and Facebook are not in the same area at all. They are two completely different products for completely different uses
