Congrats to all the Clonliffe Harriers past and present on 50 magnificent years.
Big night in club to celebrate on Tuesday 4 July.

Surely this isn't open to any entrants?

    Giving this a bump:

We've had decent ticket sales so far and most of the races have full entries.

It is shaping up to be a good night of athletics.

The council will have Santry Demesne (the park near the stadium) open for cars too until after the events.

No, but club athletes can enter the Imc races held beforehand, entries for that close tomorrow, check out the Irish Milers website.

Well that was a brilliant meet! Bagged a PB and a win in the D 800m IMC race myself. It was great to see English back on flying form, Thomas Barr had a stormer in the 400h, the mens mile had an amazing finish, with Cory Leslie pulling a huge lead, but only just hung on for the win, alongside a big number over the line together all sub4, one of them was Eoin Everard who finally broke through the 4min mark, you could see he was over the moon with his celebrations afterwards!

Full results up already also! http://mortongames.ie/start-listsresults/

Great evening in Morton Stadium, English's run was definitely the highlight for me, back with a bang! Perfect evening for it as well, great finish to the end of the Morton mile. The only little downer was the small crowd, multiple Olympians there and was a shame to see such a poor turn out, there really is not appetite for athletics in this country.

Yes indeed. An evening that Billy Morton himself would have been proud of. The perfs there last night prove that, given the right conditions, the Morton track is still as fast as any track anywhere. Full marks to the organising committee who attracted no fewer than 70 international athletes. The sports editors in all forms of the media need more than a gentle reminder that athletics is alive and well and deserves more than nil coverage.

2017 Morton Games on Wed 12th July from 7pm to 9pm. Another memorable night guaranteed. Lets hope the music screaming over the commentary has been scrapped as we could'nt hear a word last year (and the year before).
