N4 last night cars in the wrong lane again

    Driving out the N4 west last night past liffey valley. I am in the near side lane doing the speed limit. Road is empty and 2 cars are in the 3rd lane about 200 metres apart doing about 75kmh.

    Obviously I undertook both of them but what could the legal outcome have been for either driver. By the time I got to leixlip the white peugeot van driver was still in the wrong lane, that same guy went speeding by me in palmerstown in the 60 zone.

    I drive the N4 everyday - lane discipline is pretty much non-existent on the 3-lane section between Palmerstown and Leixlip.

    I use Lane 1 as my own private lane on the N4 and N7

    Every time I'm on it, I feel like Homer in the stonecutters!

    Some proper N4 madness yesterday evening.

    At about 6.45 I was driving out of town and just after the fly under at the spa hotel there was a woman walking along side the concrete barrier in the middle of the road. She was on the other side of the barrier walking towards town.

    No idea how she got across the 3 lanes to start or where she was going.
