2fm rds system not working

    hi
    has anyone noticed that its not working.
    mine is stuck on tubridy and colm hayes up next.

    no mention of any track lists and its been stuck there for the past 2 days.
    anyone?

    Dont think so.its a kenwood dpx405bt which was working fine up till a few days ago,then there was a firmware update.

    2FM have Radiotext on FM also. Neither it nor the DAB data is the most reliable.

    Ah, didn't know they had radiotext on FM, i thought scrolling radio text was illegal?

    That's only the PS, which for 2FM reads "RTE_2fm_" all the time.

    The Radiotext is different, it currently reads "next..Colm Hayes"

    Slightlt off topic but the reception on 2fm seems to be the poorest of all the stations, is there a reason for this.
