Booked Flights for wrong date

    So i am supposed to be flying to gran canaria tommorow at 14.30 just tried to check in online to find that i booked the flights for last week !!!! I dont know how i done that !! is there anything i can do. looked at the flight and its gone up to €325 each !! its booked with aer lingus does anyone think they may sell me a reduced flight or will i just re-book now?? thanks in advance:mad:

    Unfortunately, nothing you can do.

    The only thing they are likely to do, is sell you a new, expensive flight. You're not going to get a discount (though you can apply for a refund of the taxes on the flight you didn't use).

    Maybe if you have travel insurance,you could try claim,but then again i dont think they cover people for being stupid ..

    Try ringing them first thing,they may have some sympathy for you,their computer booking system certainly won't.
    You never know.

    Can't believe that could happen to anyone in this day and age? Did you not get emails from Aer Lingus previous to the flight departure?
