Chad Johnson case: did the Judge overact or not?

    Hi everyone,
    there is a video on tmz.com about the Chad Johnson case. in it Chad Johnson slaps his male lawyer on the ass and the judge gets very cross with him. I would like to know what are your opinions on this video are and do you think the Judges punishment is fair or not?

    He didn't get 30 days for contempt of court.

    He got 30 days for persistent parole violations, stemming from an original charge of assault/domestic abuse.

    He wasn't taking the situation (the assault/domestic abuse charge) seriously.

    He deserved jail time.

    Next time, any judge is likely to be less willing to accept an apology. The whole scenario is likely to knock a chunk off his earning ability if teams see him as a no show (at the game) risk.
