I imagine the majority will be on general sale.. cant see there being any shortage. Buy them outside the stadium from the ticket van on the day!

Gutted I'll be missing this one. Bar stool in a French campsite bar will have to do I suppose!

Dont worry, it's an annual event :)

    Don't bank on that.

2 years ago there was 40,000 at the Kerry-Cork Killarney Munster Final. Capacity of Fitzgerald has been reduced greatly since then (I believe to around 35k mark).

Tipp minors are in the Munster Final and they will bring a big crowd with them also.

If Cork are beaten in the hurling next week you'll also get more people travelling for the football.

It's not Kerry-Cork in Fitzgerald Stadium every year though.

In 2011, Cork went down to Kilarney as defending AI champions, brought a massive crowd hoping to rub Kerry's noses in it. While I wouldn't leave it to the last minute, I don't think it will sell out either

Didn't quite work out for them eh:D

Pity that Kerry folk don't feel the need to rub Corks nose in it when they are All Ireland champions - would mean a bigger crowd at Pairc Ui Chaoimh for Kerry-Cork games.

Tippereary wont bring a big crowd for the football. They barely turned out for the U21 team in the Munster Final in thurles in April, and that was seen as the Golden generation of Tipp football with David power and a lot of marquee players involved.

This team is not as high profile even though it is going for 3 in a row,and they will have the usal die hards that support the team but will not have any huge crowd either.

The Fact tipp hurlers are in the qualifers will mean the fans will have extra games, that they did not expect to have and if they have to choose the minor team over the senior team, will choose the hurlers.Tippereary will always choose hurling first.

On the other side of the coin Cork hurling wont have any effect on the Cork support if Cork are beaten by clare.

As the footballers have always been the poor relations in terms of support even when they won the allireland .Very few turned up at the league matches in Cork that year even when the Hurlers were poor.

And those unfortunately wont support the footballers in any great numbers as their of the view cork won't beat Kerry in Killarney under current management. And a lot of supporters have been so sickened by defeats in Kerry in games that they Cork should have won, they just wont travel down. Its the wrong attuide, but unfortunately it is the truth.

They will be a big crowd at it ,as they will be a huge west Cork following but it won't sell out.Id be very suprised if it did espiceally with the current times we are in.

Even in 2011 ,their was loads of tickets around the staduim and around the Killarney Lake Hotel(where the Cork football team normally base themselves in the morning of the game.

No. Unless you got a terrace ticket from your club, which would be €15 as opposed to €20 to the general public.

I assume the colour coding has not changed for terraces since last time.

Red is behind the goal on the Cork side of the ground - generally where the Cork fans gather (for a quick exit ;) )

Green in the corner towards the Tralee end, and blue is along the sideline behind the sideline seats.

Is this still how it works? I got myself blue tickets.

Correct about the red tickets - dressing rooms end to the corner. Blue tickets then from that corner to the TV cameras building (dunno what sideline seats your talking about - that's all terrace). Then Green to the scoreboard end.

The sideline tickets are behind the goals at the scoreboard end I think, also the family area, horrible place to watch
    a match,sitting on a concrete lintel.

You're right, there is no seats along the sideline opposite the cover stand.

Was there before - I have a vague memory that there was a seated area there back when that terrace was of the grassy/gravel/death trap on a hot July day. The seated area was only five or six rows at the front - I could be confused with somewhere else, I never sat there.

Anyone know where the pick up location will be in the town for tickets.ie. I want to maximize the amount of time for soaking up the atmosphere and not be wandering around looking for my tickets.

I'm guessing it will be the Van in the car park on the way up to the pitch like it was for the Tip and Waterford games.

Whats the latest with the tickets lads? Still have no bother buying the morning of game I presume?

Do any of ye know the story with the junior tickets? Do they get to choose whatever terrace area they like once they have the ticket or are they segregated the same way as the adults?

Info below on where the vans will be allocated on Sunday,I think the junior tickets would be same as adults but not sure about it though.

    Munster Council Vans on Sunday
On Sunday, Tickets (while stocks last) will also be available from the Munster Council Vans and they will be located in Upper Lewis Rd, just down from the bypass, Lower Lewis Rd near the roundabout with St Annes Road and at the Roundabout at the Daltons Ave side of the Stadium.
Please Note: The Munster Council are expecting a capacity attendance and the availability of tickets on Sunday cannot be guaranteed.
