Qualification in management

I am a primary teacher who has already completed an m.a in ICT in education. I am interested in doing a course to give me some qualification in management but am slow to do another masters. I live near Waterford - my options appear to be - WIT but have to do a full masters, st.pats do an outreach in Wexford education centre and allow you a qualification after 1 year of the course or recently I saw an open university course of one year all online. I have a one year old so don't want to be travelling to maynooth, Dublin etc. has anyone any experience of any of these or which is more highly rated etc. all experiences and advice welcome!!

I would recommend the OU as you can leave after year 1 with a cert, year 2 with a Dip and year 3 with an MEd. The leadership modules are quite interesting.

Check out the new UCD online courses - there have one in that area. Don't know much about it though just saw it advertised.

Doing this course myself if you want a level 10 quantification.

Only issue is that it is mainly for 3rd level administrators.
