Can I get info off my S2 with the screen broken ?

    Hello all , I broke the screen on my s2 yesterday , and bought a secondhand s2 today .
    Not all my numbers transfered with the sim to the new phone and I had stuff on the memo part of the old phone that I could really do with getting back .
    Can this stuff be transferred to the new phone from the old phone without replacing the screen on the old phone ?

    I see from its specs that it has an MHL connection (your phone probably came with the MHL lead but sure you get one on ebay etc), so in theory you should be able to connect it to a monitor or TV, once it has a HDMI connection and use their screens to navigate your phone.

    I now backup all my numbers to Gmail as I found the SIM didn't save everything, very handy as everything downloads into new phone, including apps etc.

    If you could root both phones there's a Samsung galaxy s2 toolkit on xda. you could use it to backup a full image of your phone and restore that to the new one
