Met a guy on a night out about a month ago. He came home with me but we didn't sleep together . We then went on a date. Again I thought we got on great. However after a few days without contact I bit the bullet and asked him if the lack of contact meant a no to anther date. He told me he wasn't up for dating at the moment. To which I said, no problem I was just up for a bit of fun.
He tried to make an arrangement for us to meet up ye following Friday but I couldn't meet as I had work sat.

Fast forward three/four weeks we have been texting sporadically now and again. We have tried to meet while we've been out on nights out but it just hasn't happened.

So this week we finally met up. I went into it expecting a bit of sexytime and nothing else really. But we just ended up going out and having a bottle of wine between us. We got on good had a good laugh, he dropped me home, we had a kiss in the car and he apologised for being a dickhead previously. I asked hkm to be straight out with me and tell me what the story was and he said we'd meet again. This really threw me I have to say...

Got a message from him the next night askin what I was up to. Told him I was heading out and the places I was going. Then No reply!
Have heard nothing since Friday night.

Is this fella just trying to mess with my head? Or what's his story? Argh! So confused!
Would really appreciate all viewpoints! Thank you :)

It's only Sunday morning? It's hard to say. He may be a messer.... He may be just bad at texting/checking his phone.

Given what he said previously I would play it cool with him. I mean don't have any expectations beyond a bit of fun. Provided that's something you can do. I wouldn't take what he said in the car too seriously purely because he had been drinking and he was kissing you...

It's possible he's interested but you'll just have to wait and see really. I don't think there's any point in asking him because it's so early on and besides he may just say what you want to hear.

It's a classic case of he's that not into you - sorry

I met a guy about 6 weeks ago (just after my birthday so no pressie!)....couple of coffees, couple of nights out, but after four dates we were watching tv like an old married couple...said to him I wanted to be 'wined and dined'...to this point hasn't even been bought a hamburger!

No contact since....it's ok, I wasn't that into him either!

    Raise the bar!

I do hope you were offering to pay for the wining and dining too. Shouldn't be entirely up to the man ...

Back on point, it just sounds like he's not really that interested, OP. There could be something going on in his life that makes him unattainable at the moment. He made an effort, apologized for being an ass, and then stopped. Move on.

If a woman tells me she wants to be wined and dined I probably wouldn't contact her again either.

Op, doesn't sound like he's all that interested. Oh, and drink driving is bad.

Yeah, I thought the same. If I know someone had the guts of a half bottle of wine in them, I'd flat out refuse to get in the car.
