    Hi
I'm new to building PC's so I'll be honest and say i don't really know what I'm talking about, I've just been doing a bit of research on what each component does and how they work.
I'm looking for a powerful PC for gaming and a small bit of video editing under €1,100.
This is what I have come up with so far:

    Hard Drive 1:Seagate Barracuda 7200 1500GB, SATA 6Gb/s
Hard Drive 2: Corsair Force Series GT 120GB SSD 6,4cm (2,5") SATA III
Mother Board: Gigabyte H77-D3H, Intel H77, ATX
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 Tray, LGA1155
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Windforce 2X, 2GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
    RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800U CL10-10-10-27
Optical Drive: LG DH18NS schwarz bare SATA II
PSU: Corsair Gaming Series GS700 2013 Edition 700W
    Case: BitFenix Shinobi USB 3.0
WiFi: LogiLink Wireless LAN 300 Mbps PCI Karte 802.11n 2T2R

Can some one let me know if these parts will even work together let alone perform to the standard which i seek.

    Thanks

Its looks compatible at first glance, however if you could fill out the first post from this thread on this one, it could be refined into something even better (Make sure to specify of what games, editing apps and monitor resolution you will be using as this will affect CPU/GPU choice)

    1. What is your budget? [€1,100]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming(BF3, Skyrim)/Minor Video editing]

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [No]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [no]

    5. Do you need a monitor? [No]

5a. If yes, what size do you need. []

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [32" HD TV(I think that should work fine with a HDMI cable)] [No]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [no]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [no]

    8. How can you pay? [online]

    9. When are you purchasing? [Within the next week and half]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [Galway]

This would be a good video editing build (most shamelessly stolen from one Bloodpath posted on a different therad), quite similar to what you posted except with a much better GPU (Probably overkill TBH a HD7950 would probably be much better value for 1080p gaming and chop 100 off the cost). The Xeon is very similar to the i7-3770, supports hyperthreading but just slightly lower clocked and no integrated graphics which doesn't matter with a dedicated GPU.

    Item|Price
    Cooltek Antiphon Black, ohne Netzteil|€63.00
    Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 450W|€46.47
    ASRock ZH77 Pro3, Sockel 1155, ATX|€69.18
    Intel Xeon E3-1230v2, boxed, LGA1155|€203.22
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD|€29.54
    2 x 4GB Corsair XMS3 PC3-12800U CL9|€62.80
    Samsung SSD 840 120GB SATA 6Gb/s|€85.52
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 2000GB, SATA 6Gb/s|€80.84
    Gainward GeForce GTX 770 Phantom, 2GB DDR5|€375.00
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€1034.56

Everything would work just fine. PSU is overkill 400 w or so is plenty. GPU is decent but think for 1100 you could squeeze something better in.
