    Just checked on the big game draw results on the cdfg website . Great news , We got our G1 draw as first preference . Time to start planing IMG_0001.jpg

    I know you told us before, but to save the lazy (me) from checking can you break that down for us (me again).

    Will do . The top three box's show this years draw results , first box is 2013 season , second box is big game type applied for , third box shows that draw has taken place .
    Fourth box is the Party number , there can be up to six hunters in one party .
    fifth box shows choice sequence that means I chose zone G1 as first choice zone B as second and Zone A as third . that means if you don't get drawn for your first choice you still have two more chances to be drawn .
    Perhaps I should explain how the party system works .

    One person apply 's for the tags and when doing so he does not apply as an individual , he ask for a party number . Any other person wishing to join that party just quotes that party number on their application and automatically joins that party .
    Hope this explains how we get our tags here in California .
