HI there, have set up my nexus 4 and most of the calendar events have synced with nexus 4, however I have reoccurring events for Birthdays and these have not synced. I have gone through all the settings but can't find the answer, what am I missing?

How do things look on the web-based version?

That is the strange thing, everything is on the web calendar, it seems that the events that's reoccurring that are not synced. My normal events have synced

It could be a bigger problem, like the WiFi going to sleep or filtering traffic during sleep. Or are you using data most of the time? If you are using WiFi, I remember I had a problem when I got mine and I applied a fix I found on the web. It needs root. It had to do with WiFi filtering most traffic when the phone was asleep and it didn't matter if I had WiFi set to always be on. Ever since the fix, it has worked perfectly. I didn't use my calendar much before then but now that I am, I'm getting all notifications promptly.
