looking at replacing front suspension arms on my vw Passat.
I can get the full kit for 115 on evilbay but the price for these kits really varies just wondering is there much of a difference manufacturing wise.
any info would be great thanks

There is a massive difference quality wise between Vw and spurious, and then a bigger difference between good spurious and bad ones.

What make are the Ebay ones?

I didn't check just had a quick look but the seller is giving a one year warranty with them.

Personally i wouldn't,Cheap spurious suspension arms are a false economy. You really won't save over genuine parts when you take into account the could last 1/3 or 1/4 of the time, you are paying for 3/4 sets of parts and labour over one set of genuine parts and one session of labour.

just had a quick look and it has the manufactor down as vw but I would doubt that no other maufactor listed.
seller has top marks and reviews. Have the labour cover by myself.

I doubt the are VW,but you never know. Put a link up to the Ad and one of the mechanics here might be able to tell.

I have yet to meet someone who bought the cheap arms off ebay that thought they were good, think you will pick them up in a motor factor for around €400 or a main stealer for around €600 (may be cheaper in the north) worth the premium if you are planning on keeping the car

Another point to take in is that VW parts come with a two year warranty so the local VW garage informs me.
